Update: Heritage Malta Event: Museums by Candlelight
On Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October, three key sites – the Malta Maritime Museum, the Inquisitor’s Palace and Fort St Angelo – will be opening with advantageous reduced admission rates and optional pre-booked guided tours. The latter will be taking place regularly, in both Maltese and English.
Update: Birgufest 2024 Cancelled
We regret to inform our readers that Birgufest 2024, initially scheduled for the 11th and 12th of October, has been cancelled. According to the Birgu Local Council, the decision was made after professional advice due to health and safety concerns related to the ongoing project at Birgu Main Square. The council’s priority is ensuring the safety of residents and the public.
While we’re saddened by this news, we encourage everyone to mark their calendars for Birgufest 2025, which is scheduled for October 10th and 11th. Stay tuned for more updates on future events and happenings in Birgu!
